Hello again! Today I am 7 weeks and 1 day old. I know it’s not long since my last Update, but I was weighed again today, and you’ll all be pleased to know that I’ve put on 300 grams in just one week! I now weigh 5.8 kgs, which is 12 lbs 13 oz. I am smiling all the time now, although I may not be exactly sure why. I like to confuse people by giving them a great big cheesey grin and then bursting into tears, but I’ll work out all those difficult facial expressions soon enough.
Speaking of facial expressions, I was wearing my my sad face late this afternoon because Soss (aka Auntie Kathryn) left my house to begin her long drive back to Brisbane. She’s been living with my Mum and Dad (and me!) for about three months so it’s very sad to see her go. I had my photo taken with her before she left, though, so I’ll attach a copy of that picture, as well as one that was taken with my Dad just a few minutes ago. A few days ago I saw a photo of my beautiful cousin, Paige, which was emailed to my Dad. In the photo she was in a park flying a kite. I can’t wait until I can meet Austin and Paige and fly kites with them. My Grandma Maiden is driving down from Brisbane this coming weekend to visit me for a few days. I hope I’m not too grizzly after my immunisations on Saturday to show her my brilliant smiles. Sleeping time for Kings (and the Father of the King, by the looks of things…) I hope you are all well.
